Tommy Quiller was born on July 4, 1934, to the late Claudie Calvin Quiller and Ludie Mae Quiller. He received his early education in the Upson County School System and later earned his GED and a Textile Technology Certificate from Upson Tech.

On October 17, 1954, Tommy married the love of his life, Adella Moreland Quiller. Together, they shared 66 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Anissa Quiller Gaines. Tommy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, known for his unwavering love, infectious smile, and upstanding character.

Tommy was widely known and deeply respected throughout his community. He never met a stranger and had a genuine love for people. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting, and found great joy in the outdoors. Tommy worked faithfully for over 30 years at Martha Mills, where he served as an assistant shift foreman before retiring.

On April 25, 2026, Tommy peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and love. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adella Moreland Quiller; his brothers, Roosevelt Quiller, J.B. Quiller, John Hutchinson, Lucious Quiller, and Oscar Quiller; and his sisters, Willie Bell Quiller Drake and Annette Quiller Traylor.

Tommy Quiller’s life was a light that shone brightly before others, that they might see his good works and glorify his Father in heaven. He is survived by his loving daughter, Anissa Quiller Gaines (Derrik) of Lilburn, Georgia; his sister, Virginia Quiller Calhoun of Columbus, Ohio; and his cherished grandchildren, Israel Urijah Gaines and Damaris Elisabeth Gaines. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever remember his generous spirit, kind heart, and faithful presence.
